Euro Leisure consists of an international, young and dynamic team with a well experienced staff. The expertise of our management staff covers all areas not only on geographical level (ranging from Asia, Europe, Africa to South America), but also on professional level such as hospitality management, tourism planning & development, tourism master planning, tourism research, tourism marketing, tourism PR, project management, financing, subsidies, training, sustainable tourism development and ITC.
Euro Leisure has its head office in Gouda, the Netherlands with project offices and affiliate offices in France, Thailand, Suriname, India, Benin and China.
The Euro Leisure management office leads its international project offices which are related to the current projects and carries out joint tasks with its affiliate offices all over the world. For the management of the international projects, one of our well experienced and strictly selected managers will be put on it. Euro Leisure disposes of a large pool of available staff for these purposes.

A well experienced operations manager, teamleader, feasibility expert, financial expert, tourism product development expert and financial analyst of numerous small and large scale tourism projects with over 25 years of experience in the field.
Several positions as President Director General, general manager, managing director or operations manager, set up, managed and led many complex tourism development projects, ranging from large holiday/ multifunctional leisure parks (Centre Parcs 1980 -1989, + Gran Dorado 1989 - 1992 Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, France) and hotels, to congress facilities.
Set up Euro Leisure in 1989 and besides management and tourism development, also carried out divers consultancy projects in the whole world such as feasibility studies, business plans + financial risk analyses (Netherlands, Thailand, Iceland, Madrid, Surinam, France, Germany, Austria, Cambodia, Hungary, Mozambique, Russia, Benin). The excellent skills in financial and economical analyses are very useful in carrying out the various assignments.

Geoffrey Davies

Senior project manager
Specialisation:
Tourism planning and development expert with broad knowledge about tourism development in Africa, (Eastern) Europe and South East Asia.
Extensive know how in the field of tourism planning and development, development of tourism master plans, tourism market research, tender and subsidy applications, tourism business plans, tourism potential assessment, ecotourism/ sustainable tourism related issues and familiar with the tourism industry in many transition and third world countries due to former assignments on location and live/ work there for longer period.
High communicative skills with fluency in Dutch, English, French, Spanish and German, complemented with fair knowledge of Bahasa Indonesia. A degree in International Tourism Management, obtained at the Netherlands University of Tourism and Transport Studies.
Thereupon qualified as trainer of tourism development management at the Netherlands University of Tourism and Transport studies.
Project and account management is one of the key functions within the firm.

Inge Geertzen

Inge Geertzen provides her expertise in Research, Design, Concept Development, Marketing & Promotion and Product Sales with creative thinking to develop a clear focus on our marketable products and services and implements marketing strategies for us and our clients.
She has carried out several assignments as marketing manager for projects in among others Suriname, Thailand and France. Her creative thinking enables her to maximise market impacts with minimum efforts.
Thereupon, she has lead international market researches for serving concept development, strategy assessment and policy making decisions.
Her organising talent for projects such as trade fairs or promotion campaigns provides the company the organisation strong pillar for our projects.
A university degree in International Tourism Management and international marketing gives her the strong base for the job.
Pieter de Jager

IT Manager/Web Developer
Specialisation:
Well experienced web engineer, IT specialist and DTP professional. He is responsible for all information technology at the company, all Euro Leisure websites (ThailandReisgids.nl, GoSuriname.net, Horizontraveller.com, EuroLeisure.com, SurinameRiverlodge.com), computer hardware and network management.
Thereupon, as a creative DTP professional he delivers stylish designs for websites, internet portals, advertisements, brochures, maps and images.
As a web engineer, he has developed many complex tourism web applications such as booking modules, reservation systems, games/ contests, online questionnaires, content management systems (CMS) and project management modules.
Our IT-manager has become indispensable in order to cope and to stay on track with the fast developments in the tourism industry concerning information providing, marketing, bookings, management and project organisation.
